The Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) last night said that it has approved the use of a modified version of the Nomination Form that is statutorily required to be submitted along with the Lists of
Candidates by Political Parties to contest General and Regional Elections.
It said in a statement that the modified version of the Form was proposed by Chief Election Officer (CEO), Vishnu Persaud to cater for greater accuracy and to guard against misuse.
