Hardknocks, LA Ballers, YMCA, and Fearless tallied respective divisional wins when the King and Queen Beach Football Championship continued on Friday night at the PPP Office Compound in Mackenzie, Linden.
In the men’s segment, Hardknocks, LA Ballers, and YMCA notched up comfortable wins.
Hardknocks grounded HH Ballers 4-2. Deon Charter crafted a hat-trick in the third, fifth, and 11th minutes, while Omar Williams found the back of the net in the ninth minute. For the loser, Anthony Layne and Emmanuel Atkins netted in the second and 24th minutes, respectively.
On the other hand, LA Ballers clipped Swan 9-2. Andre Mayers [5th, 12th, and 26th] and Mickel Jeffers [14th, 29th, and 30th] tallied respective hat-tricks, while Jayshawn Moore and Marcus Tudor scored in the 24th and 25th minutes apiece. An own goal in the 25th minute added to the score.
