We are never prepared for a loved one becoming very ill and having to take care of them.
This month is cancer survivor’s months and I just wanted to remind us sisters how important it is to take care of our health, Yes, being a cancer survivor is good but not having cancer at all is even better.
‘Depression and anxiety are mental health problems, but people are often afraid to admit that they are struggling with these complaints because they are ashamed or do not want to be labelled as mad.
“I don’t understand how she could have this child watching videos the whole day, sometimes even late in the night and it really gets me angry.”
Last week Sunday we celebrated Mother’s Day. Below I share a piece first published on April 30th 2023 just as a reminder of how difficult parenting can be at times.
Today we celebrate Mother’s Day and while some may not agree with how it is celebrated worldwide, we all can agree that it is a day well deserved.

Kenesha Marie Juman Vaughn was just 27 years old. She was the mother of a three-year-old child.

Cervical cancer month (observed in January) has just ended and I just wanted to remind sisters to ensure you are tested.
